With V4, you get the following functionality

	Get real-time, audible turn-by-turn directions Get to your destination using real-time, voice-prompted turn-by-turn directions and a 3D Map view. You’ll hear and see notifications of upcoming turns on your screen. Plus if you miss a turn Navigator automatically updates your route to get you back on track fast.
	Place yourself on a MAP Find your GPS location and over 15 million local businesses across North America in seconds. View any location on a colour map and get directions to your destination.
	Avoid traffic Avoid traffic with traffic speed and traffic incident alerts. Traffic speed is indicated on a map with green, yellow or red markers. Traffic speed is monitored on major highways in Toronto. Traffic incident alerts are delivered to your mobile phone or smartphone to notify you of any delays along your route caused by accidents, construction and other traffic incidents. Choose the traffic detour option to get to your destination avoiding delays along your route. Coverage is currently available in Montreal, Toronto and Vancouver. 	National weather forecast Access current weather conditions or get short and long-term forecast for your current GPS location or any location across North America.

	Sync TELUS Navigator with BlackBerry® contacts BlackBerry® users can launch the TELUS Navigator application right from their BlackBerry® Contacts list and use TELUS Navigator to get turn-by-turn directions, view maps, and use local search features for their Contacts right from their BlackBerry® Contacts list.
	Discover new places and share Use Local Search to find and get directions to over 15 million local businesses across North America such as coffee shops, malls, restaurants, movie theatres, movie show times, gas stations, ATMs and more. Send a Place Message to share a map of your current location or any other meeting place. Using Navigator, a recipient of a Place Message can view a map and get turn-by turn directions to the destination.

Navigator V2 feature overview

Navigator V2 offers basic navigation features and is available on a broad range of mobile phones. With Navigator V2, you get audible turn-by-turn navigation, 2D maps, and Local Search functionality. Navigator V2 is available in Canada only.

Get started

There are four steps to getting up and running with Navigator.

1. Ensure you have a monthly rate plan.
2. Ensure your phone is Navigator-compatible.
3. Subscribe to TELUS Navigator.
4. Download Navigator to your mobile phone.

To use TELUS Navigator, you need a Navigator V4 or V2 capable phone or smartphone.
